Linux Engineer vacancy requiring profound Debian and Ubuntu knowledge for our Risch-Rotkreuz based client in the Pharma sector.
Your tasks:
- Contributing to Medical Instrument and Software Development Projects with technical knowhow
- Developing and maintaining of in-house Linux distribution and open-source tools
- Executing Linux Software and Hardware troubleshooting, including debugging and root-cause analysis
- Assessing systems for vulnerabilities and applying updates to mitigate risks
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Linux Software Engineer, including developing customized Linux distributions and know-how of Linux systems such as Debian and Ubuntu
- Strong proficiency in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware and software integration
- Solid skills in Operating Systems and Software building, testing, and packaging
- Good command of C/C++, Python, Go, Web technologies, and Shell Scripting
- Master's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
