The Opportunity

As the Strategic Pricing & Contracting Leader in Diagnostics Global Access & Policy (GA&P) team you will be part of the Strategic Pricing & Contracting Chapter and will be responsible for developing strategic global pricing guidance for all products and solutions; working closely with the global, regional and local organization to inform the global pricing strategy and policy for products that result in price levels that facilitate sustainable access and optimize revenues.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development of the global pricing strategies for key diagnostic products and solutions at launch and across the product lifecycle, and monitor the competitive environment of these products.

  • Align executive level leaders (DLT and RDS LT) on value-based pricing strategies and appropriate pricing guidance for the key markets.

  • Co-lead the roll-out of the pricing strategies, including innovative pricing and contracting/procurement solutions in collaboration with access and commercial stakeholders.

  • Support affiliates and local organizations in the development of local pricing strategies and solutions to address local access barriers and acting as sparring partner throughout the process.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of internal/external pricing dynamics, trends and requirements

  • Support appropriate pricing communications to external stakeholders

  • Develop perspectives, strategies and toolkits on innovative pricing models, e.g. outcome-based pricing, product bundles, pay per result,...) and collect input from

Access Strategy, Access Engagement, Health Policy and Access Evidence

  • Provide insights on pricing (and reimbursement) aspects into Access Strategy and consolidated advice to squads and LCTs

  • Develop strategic pricing perspective on disease management / E2E solutions

  • Providing clear pricing guidance on all products and solutions in scope in accordance to relevant governance processes

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, health economics, life sciences, public health, public policy, marketing or a related discipline;

  • MBA or other Graduate or higher-level Degree in science, business or a similar field is a plus

  • 5-8 years minimum professional experience. Recognized for expertise in pricing and reimbursement. Affiliate and/or regional experience is preferred. Experience in diagnostics, medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to influence without authority

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and lead diverse teams to achieve common goals with a track record of effective strategic decision-making.

  • Capabilities to deliver impactful messages / strategic recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders internally and externally.

  • Agile leadership skills (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) to motivate and lead a diverse multicultural team is essential.

  • Ability to see the big picture and give strategic direction as well as to provide more granularity when exchanging with a wide range of access experts.

  • Eager to co-create GA&P to enable our ambition: Double patient access to novel, high-medical-value diagnostics solutions

  • Highly motivated, self-organized and self-driven

  • Fluent in English

As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
