Your Future Role
140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich site servs as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to Alessandro Sigrist, Head of Services Tenders & Business Development and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to:
- Identify and cultivate sales opportunities within our extensive Services Portfolio, which includes Modernizations, Innovations, Maintenance, Spare Parts, and Repairs
- Collaborate with Services Management and Customer Directors to formulate effective strategies for tenders under your oversight
- Coordinate with various functions (Engineering, Production, Procurement, Legal, etc.) involved in the tender process to ensure timely input and contributions
- Develop compelling proposals for the end customer, encompassing technical solutions, offer documentation, and pricing strategies
- Lead or actively participate in customer negotiations, conduct Win-Loss Analysis, and facilitate Return of Experience Reviews post-contract award
- Engage in general Sales and Business Development activities to proactively replenish the business pipeline

- Relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, or Bid Management
- Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in French is an advantage
- Strong creativity, attention to structure, and ability to work independently
- Solid technical understanding
- Open to travel up to 20%
