Our client, a leading international player in the consumer goods industry with modern offices in the Zurich area, is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d) to start immediately in a temporary assignment until end of April 2025.

Description
The Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d) will be supporting ongoing operational tasks within the Supplier Quality Organization with packaging components and finished goods manufacturers. These will include a mixture of compliance, root cause investigations, CAPA, new product launch related tasks.:
- Tracks supplier quality and trends, taking action to ensure they meet our client's standards.
- Leads investigations and follow-ups on quality issues, reporting progress to the team.
- Reinforces quality requirements in communications with suppliers.
- Stays updated on processes, procedures, and supplier guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Helps onboard and oversee new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality expectations.
- Assists with new product launches, supporting quality from the beginning.
- Supports database and system updates, keeping records accurate and current.
Profile
For this challenging and rewarding position, the ideal candidate should have: ·
- Successfully completed academic degree (e.g. mechanical-, manufacturing, - or chemical engineering)
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role, within a fast-paced GMP manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic QMS, e-training systems and SAP systems is preferred
- Knowledge of compliance, related to all applicable Quality Systems Standards, e.g. ISO, is required
- Strong oral and written English skills, with ability to appropriately communicate information to cross functional stakeholders
- Experience in interpreting and following procedures and work instructions is required
- Project Management skills and experience is desirable.
- Implementation of Risk Management tools, e.g. Critical Control Point Analysis, FMEA, etc. is desirable.
- Excellent trouble shooting skills and ability to pragmatically approach issues is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to appropriately communicate information to cross functional stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team setting and independently under minimal supervision
