Summary
We believe that the way we reach and integrate with our customers from a supply perspective is a crucial aspect of our mission of Extending lives, Expanding possibilities and following this mission the Transport Manager will play a key role in our logistics, planning, reporting and cost control activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing :
- Manage cost-effective transport networks with a focus on supply security and risk management.
- Oversee transportation operations to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods.
- Maintain close relationships with transport suppliers and monitor service levels.
- Track and report on transport costs, ensuring alignment with financial plans.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to analyze transport cost impacts.
- Manage team structure and capacity, ensuring staff development.
- Issue regular reports on transport activity, costs, and risks.
- Support regional supply chain forecasting and planning.
Who are we looking for?
- Degree in business, supply chain, or similar.
- Extensive supply chain and transport management experience.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- APICS certification or similar is an advantage.
