VSHN, pronounced like “vision,” is Switzerland's leading partner for enabling DevOps, cloud-native development, and agile IT operations. We empower software teams with self-service products like APPUiO and Application Catalog , as well as tailored solutions built on our Managed OpenShift product and standardized building blocks leveraging GitOps, CI/CD, VM-based services , and various support and operations subscriptions. Most of these services are provided as managed services by VSHN, ensuring applications are testable, deployable, scalable, and operable in any cloud or on-premise environment.
Your new role: Junior Kubernetes Services Engineer
As a Junior Kubernetes Services Engineer in our Application Catalog (AppCat) Team at VSHN, named Schedar, you will assist in engineering and maintaining our AppCat services. You’ll work on requirements engineering, consulting, building new services, and improving existing ones.
Your key focus will be developing new AppCat services and enhancing existing ones using your knowledge of Go programming, the Kubernetes Operator SDK, and Jsonnet. Working with tools like Crossplane, you’ll gain hands-on experience in Kubernetes at a CKAD or KCNA level, as well as Linux and scripting, to contribute effectively to our Scrum Team.
In addition to development tasks, you’ll assist with operations work, including responding to alerts, resolving customer tickets, debugging issues, and communicating effectively with customers.

-
Customer support: Provide timely support to customers using AppCat services.
