Pilot Plant Engineers
Your tasks
- Safely operate and monitor pilot-scale comprising reactors, distillation units, and other chemical processing equipment
- Record and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes incl. safety
- Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis, and interpret results to make necessary process adjustments
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Work closely with process engineers, chemists, and other team members to execute experimental plans and scale-up activities
- Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of operations
Your profile
- Engineer FH/Univ. in chemical engineering/process engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical plant operations, preferably in a pilot plant or research and development setting
- Experience with chemical processing equipment, control systems, and instrumentation
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in various environmental conditions
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job
- Good knowledge of the English and German languages
