ECSA Chemicals AG is active in the distribution of Life Sciences products in Switzerland, Germany, France & Italy. In order to empower our experienced team, we are looking for an independent, self-motivating and ambitious:

You will be supporting customers mainly in the Swiss-German and French-German part of Switzerland. From a business development perspective, the company expects the development of the South-German market.

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to solve customer problems
  • Sourcing, search for new products and suppliers according to market demand
  • Grow designated accounts’ sales volume and maintain existing customer base
  • Monitor sales growth and new opportunities within designated accounts
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
  • Identify potential customers and set approach strategies
  • Monitor overall customer satisfaction with our products and services
  • Participate in trade shows (Europe, China) and improvement of overall market share and profitability
  • Active participation in direct marketing activities
  • Maintain customer information on CRM
  • Provide regular forecast updates

 

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years required in business-to-business sales of chemicals, ingredients, additives or other raw materials preferably within Pharma & Food industries
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, food science, engineering or similar technical background
  • Proven work experience and a strong track record in Sales
  • Independent, autonomous, goal orientated and results focused individual with good negotiating and influencing skills
  • good organizational skills with a strong customer focused mindset
  • Cooperative team player, in order to support each other by sharing positive experiences, success stories, technical know-how and account knowledge.
  • (Swiss-) German mother language, good French and English are required combined with excellent communication skills
  • Confident user of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
  • ability to work from mobile office
