This job opportunity with 80% overall workload provides additional flexibility. Work attendance is a must during the monthly closing and management meeting days to ensure your valuable contribution can be fully utilized while the 20% off time can be enjoyed during other days off depending on your personal situation and in accordance with business requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  • In this role you are part of the Grinding & Dispersing management team, and you handle all financial activities of the business area (such as month end closing, budgeting, forcasting, project controlling, reportings and ad-hoc analysis)
  • You are a trusted Business Partner that drives the business result and creates insights. Close collaboration with other Bhler entities worldwide and the respective finance teams (USA, Germany and many more)
  • You are reporting to the CFO of Advanced Materials with a strong dotted line to the Managing Director of the business area. You also have a close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, from the shopfloor to the management
  • You are responsible for the Reporting and Analysis. You take over the provision of valuable insights that drives perfomance and continuous improvments
  • You deliver excellent services through proactive support and advice on strategic and operational decision making
  • You coordinate and preparate the business area budgets and forecasts
  • You support the month and year-end financial close process including preparation of journal entries and doing reconciliations
Required Qualifications
  • Higher degree in Finance/ Accounting or commercial apprenticeship with further training in Controlling
  • Practical experience in Business Controlling or similar experience in an industrial environment is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of the IFRS accounting principles
  • IT affinity and familiarity of working with SAP, SAP BW and MS Office
  • Very good communication skills in Englisch, other languages are an advantage
  • Ability to deliver the message crisp and sharp and adjust level of details towards target audience
