The CCTT investigates high-performance teams, their roles in organisations and what factors influence them. Current research topics include faultlines (team diversity), psychological safety, team spirit, team leadership, top management teams (TMT) and board of directors.

Your tasks
- You will work closely with the Competence Centre for Top Teams (CCTT) at the Institute for International Management.
- You will conduct research as part of your PhD thesis supervised by Prof. Dr. Winfried Ruigrok in the area of high-performance teams. An overview of his career and academic work can be found under the linked pages.
- You should be passionate about investigating critical dimensions and drivers of high-performance teams as well as team leadership.
- Furthermore, you will support business development and consulting work with corporate clients.
- You will also support Prof. Dr. Ruigrok and Dr. Stephanie Schoss as a teaching assistant for a number of classes at the university and executive education level.
Your profile
- Data analytics skills in SPSS, Stata, R or Python
- Previous research and professional experience is not required but highly beneficial
- Proficiency in English and German (spoken and written), having additional language requirements is beneficial
- Applicants must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum grade of 5.0 (on a 6.0 scale) or be on track to complete their Master's degree within the next few months
- Candidates must be eligible for the University's doctoral program and verify whether they fulfil the admission requirements when sending their application
