For our local Headquarter in Sierre and in anticipation of the upcoming retirement of the current incumbent, we are looking for a :

Position Objective

The overall responsibility of this position is the management and control of financial administration for our local headquarter in Sierre with Manufacturing, R&D, Sales&Marketing, Customer Service and Administration plus our subsidiary in the canton of Bern.

 

Specific Accountabilities

  • Ensure Accounting and financial planning to meet internal as well as external requirements
  • Provide appropriate financial information to management to allow informed decision making
  • Timely and accurate information provided to management and to the Global Headquarters in Italy
  • Perform Gross Profit elimination and participate on local consolidation
  • Budget and Forecast coordination for Eversys Switzerland in collaboration with colleagues from other departments
  • Overall responsibility for budget and forecast accuracy including P&L and Balance sheet/Cash Flow
  • All financial returns completed accurately and timely
  • Leading and developing finance staff to ensure the team is prepared to perform in a timely and professional manner with adequate back-ups
  • Reports and records according to De'Longhi Group as well as Swiss policies and legislation
  • Participation to monthly Executive Board meetings
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of internal control in collaboration with the internal audit team of the Group
  • Manage and evaluate the risk management of the department following Group requirements
  • Liaison with Headquarters in Italy and external institutions : Auditors, Insurance Companies, lawyers, tax and other government offices
  • Provide country results to Headquarters through established weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements

 

Education and Experience

  • University degree in finance or accounting with appropriate certifications such as Federal Diploma in Controlling or Audit
  • Proven track record of 5 to 10 years in a similar position managing a Finance Department in an industrial and/or export environment
  • SAP experience required
  • French mother tongue and proficient in English, German a large plus
