Senior Controller - Risk-Weighted Assets & Cost of Capital 80-100% (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Senior Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and Cost of Capital (CoC) controller to design and optimize the RWA and CoC management accounting processes. This role caters to individuals who are experienced in accounting with an extensive understanding of RWA and CoC topics and with the ability to use their accounting expertise to maintain the new RWA allocation logic within the SAP PaPM system.

IHRE AUFGABEN

  • Responsible for the weekly and monthly production of CoC and RWA KPI, including optimising of the RWA reporting through a new sub-divisional reallocation process

  • Design, implement, and maintain the streamlined RWA allocation logic

  • Initiate RWA adjustments that impact multiple Core KPI queries and ensure consistency between the various KPI queries

  • Initiate manual RWA adjustments, establish a robust RWA / CoC control framework with data quality checks to ensure accurate reporting of the RWA / CoC incl. affected Core KPI to mitigate potential issues

  • Engage in hands-on SAP PaPM adjustments as necessary with the support of the SAP team

  • Be the contact person for any business or technical queries related to RWA/CoC by various cross-divisional stakeholders

  • Be able to support and deputize other team members in Management Accounting

YOUR PROFILE

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in management accounting or regulatory, reporting ideally in an internationally operating bank

  • Self-starter with ability to grasp quickly and efficiently new and complex processes and having regard to changing priorities

  • Reliable, flexible person with a can-do attitude, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, who enjoys working in a dynamic team

  • Strong interest in regulatory topics, in particularly in capital requirements and risk management standards such as Basel III

  • Very good understanding and experience of RWA regulations is required

  • Passion for financials and IT with deep understanding of financial systems and platforms; prior knowledge of SAP PaPM is a distinct advantage

  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration

  • Very good English, German is a plus
