Job Overview

 

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Compliance and Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, a team player, and highly detail oriented. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compliance and accounting tasks while contributing to business development and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and oversee compliance and accounting functions.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and audits.
  • Prepare, process, and monitor quarterly fund retrocession and management fees.
  • Ensure proper onboarding of new clients and financial institutions, maintaining compliance with FINMA guidelines.
  • Maintain and update client documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and implement compliance-related projects
  • Support marketing efforts
  • Ensure structured workflows and effective prioritization of tasks.

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Team player who contributes to a fun, positive, and collaborative work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in compliance, accounting, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Fast learner, Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
  • Experience with FINMA regulations and Swiss financial compliance is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must, other languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
