The Head of Finance and Controlling will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the financial health of the organization, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This role involves managing a small finance team of Biognosys AG in Schlieren and the Bruker LSMS group in Fällanden, developing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Lead and manage the finance and controlling team of Biognosys AG and Bruker LSMS
• Closely collaborate with other executives to develop and implement the company's overall business strategy and ensure financial sustainability
• Analyze and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as well as accounting, controlling, tax, audit, and compliance
• Ensure that financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, promoting transparency and accountability
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Support M&A and business development initiatives with financial insights and analysis
• Drive and support Finance projects within the Bruker Cooperation

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven experience in a senior financial management role
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic thinking and planning
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including S/4HANA and SAC
• Good understanding of US and Swiss GAAP
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
