Internship in the Cardiometabolic International Business Team - Core Lab
We are seeking an ambitious individual with a background in marketing, business, medical, or life sciences who is eager to gain hands-on experience in global product management and marketing. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our International Business Team, assisting them in various tasks.
Your primary areas of focus will revolve around two key aspects. Firstly, you will be directly involved in the ongoing commercialization efforts of our products in Heart Failure and Myocardial Infarction. This will involve supporting the team in executing marketing strategies, analyzing market trends, and contributing to product messaging.
Secondly, you will play a vital role in helping our Cardiometabolic Business Team achieve their goals of delivering a comprehensive branding, strategy, and product messaging plan to the global market over the next 36 months. This will require your active involvement in shaping our brand identity, optimizing marketing channels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product managers to support their daily tasks and strategic projects

Assist in the marketing and commercialization of existing products

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities

Contribute to brand evolution and execute the roll-out strategy

Work with regional and local teams to streamline marketing activities

Optimize internal and external digital channels for effective product communication

Support cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders such as the Leadership team, Research and Development, Operations, and Regulatory departments
Who You Are
You are enrolled in or completed a Master's or PhD program at a university, preferably in the field of marketing, business, medical, or life science after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.
Furthermore you are

Strong interest in combining business and medical perspectives to drive market leadership and make a positive impact for patients

Reliable, eager to learn, and adaptable to a changing environment

Strong analytical and communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English

Previous experience in product management and/or marketing is preferred

Proficiency in Google Office applications, especially Google Slides and Sheets

Project management skills and medical expertise are a plus

Technical details:
The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 12 months.
Part-time employment is not possible.
It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship. (please select the appropriate option)
