The Logistics Technician is acting as the main contact for material management as inventory, storage transfers and sub-contracted operations. Following-up manufacturing orders in their process and expedite picking according to planning requirements

Your mission

General :

• Propose improvements and tracking tools to improve the activity monitoring.
• Communicate on a daily basis with planning and procurement (get a “cross-functionnal view” within the Supply Chain).
• Participate on follow-up meetings

Incoming goods :

• Realize and ensure all material movements within the ERP system (from incoming to customer shipments),
• Incoming inspection tasks such as documentation’s check, quantity controls and identify parts that must pass through QC,
• Realize traceability records within our PLM system,

Internal logistics flows linked to production orders :

• Identify material with appropriated requirements to ease the daily basis’s actions and improve visibility of available material by using visual management,
• Identify of warehouse shortage to prevent production stop,
• Create and monitor transfer orders,
• Release component (kits according to manufacturing orders) and transport to each specific or dedicated production storage areas

Inventory Management :

• Ensure correct storage conditions and participate actively to improve efficiency and storage capacity on this field
• Control on a regular basis the stock take/ and complete the inventory report at least once a year,
• Correct and book in ERP system any stock discrepancies, identify clearly the reason for each movement upper than 500.-

Export / Outgoing goods :

• Book products into finished goods stocks ( or half-finished goods) and release finished goods from ERP at each customer shipment.
• Ensure a safe protection packaging for each product shipped from our premises,
• Respect and control that safety rules are applied within the logistics areas,
• Expedite picking according to planning schedule,

Your story

• Completed logistics education
• 3+ years logistics successful experience
• Good technical understanding with mechanical, electronics components
• High awareness for costs and quality, understanding of lean basics
• Experience in the use of ERP system or any relevant Warehouse Management Sytems
• Proficiency in MS office, Good use of Excel for stocks analysis
• French is a must and English B2
• Organized way of working.

Nice to have’s:

• Professional experience in a Space or Aerospace company
• Lean and Six Sigma education & experience
• Good collaboration skills
• Solution-oriented
• Is independent, with a holistic perspective and has the team's goals in focus
