This position reports to

Real Estate Country Manager, ABB Switzerland

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for all ABB locations across Switzerland, with about 260K sqm of space, including office, production and logistics. Each day, you will improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effective service delivery, by analyzing and proposing the plan of actions for the business. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the systems implementation/upgrade in your area of functional responsibility.
The work model for the role is #hybrid
This role is supporting the business in reaching their targets. Main stakeholders are external providers and the internal location managers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Overseeing asset management for all ABB locations in Switzerland and ensuring facility management services by supervising FM external providers.
• Coordinating and optimizing ancillary costs at locations in cooperation with on-site operators, and collaborating in strategic controlling of the property portfolio.
• Creating data analyses, forming KPIs, and deriving actionable results to ensure facilities meet government regulations, health and security standards, and energy efficiency requirements.
• Managing facilities projects with budgets up to 100k CHF.

Qualifications for the role

  • About 10 years of experience in the corporate real estate sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in facility management, real estate, business administration, or a similar field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial, proactive, customer service-based mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a demanding and dynamic environment, with a high level of teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for establishing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience in financial planning, cost management, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Fluency in English and German.
