An exciting opportunity has come up for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team at DK Household Brands. We are a premium housewares brand, with a portfolio of distinguished brands including Zyliss, Cole & Mason, Culinare, AdHoc, Ken Hom and Swissmar. This role will specifically be supporting our Zyliss brand, which since 1951 has been celebrated worldwide for its innovative kitchen tools and gadgets. From the garlic press to the onion chopper and salad spinner, Karl Zysset’s inventions have made the kitchen a more fun, efficient and enjoyable place. Founded in Switzerland, Zyliss has revolutionised the world of cooking for over 70 years.

 

The Marketing Coordinator will support Zyliss’ global brand marketing initiatives by facilitating the creation and distribution of omnichannel marketing materials for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand communication, ensuring a consistent brand presence. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating requests and assets with the local marketing teams
  • Tracking brand performance and market trends
  • Managing the social media strategy and content calendar
  • Preparing detailed marketing reports and presentations

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in digital marketing and ideally hold a higher education degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, however this is not essential. The role does require some prior experience in a similar role, such as a traineeship or previous / current similar position; and experience in the consumer goods / retail industry is also a plus.

 

Additionally, the following knowledge, skills and behaviours, are key to success in this role:

  • A good knowledge of digital marketing principles and social media platforms, including paid ads and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for minor edits
  • Experience in using office suite tools including MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • A basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (E.g., Amazon experience) is a plus
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen team player, with a creative mindset and a strong sense of visual aesthetics
  • A willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced start-up like environment where resources are scarce; and a hands-on approach to the business, is a pre-requisite for success
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbally) is required, and proficiency in German is highly preferred. Additional languages are a plus

This is a full-time role, office-based (with hybrid working), located in our Zurich offices. We offer you modern office facilities with a fully equipped kitchen to use and test our state-of-the-art kitchen products. Plus, we are very well connected to public transport in Zurich Oerlikon.
