Main objective of the position:
Reporting into the Associate Director of Procurement, this role is responsible for Americas procurement of Molded Component spend of approximately $8+ million.. This role will develop the strategic roadmap for the category and be responsible for annual cost savings projects. It will allow you to think strategically to develop best in class sourcing and spend management.

What you'll be doing:
- Manage, Strategize, and deliver all aspects of Strategic Sourcing and Spend Management.
- Develop robust category strategies that reduce supply base, reduce dependence on single/sole sourced suppliers, deliver continuity of supply, and provide for annual cost reductions.
- Effectively partner and collaborate long term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop supplier relationship management and risk assessments, implementation of appropriate risk mitigation plans.
- Strong decision maker surrounding multi-million dollar contracts and agreements and major policies.
- Deliver annual VIP (cost reductions) and PPV objectives at category and plant levels.
- Ability to collaborate in a global cross functional matrixed environment, including ability to influence, negotiate and manage stakeholder interests/expectations.
- Jointly with supplier quality, address supplier quality issues on time.
- Travel of 10%-25% including global travel.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree; MBA desirable. CPM preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant business and people management experience in Procurement or Supply Chain discipline.
- Expertise and aptitude in molded component procurement, preferable experience in Pharma, Food, Medical Device
- In-depth knowledge of complex pricing arrangements and supplier profitability.
- Strong ethical background.
- Top-tier negotiator with knowledge of cost tools such as material breakdown, benchmarking, value analysis, value engineering, sophisticated RFQ’s and innovative purchasing tools.
- Strong project management skills to drive projects to closure.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving, continuous improvement, corrective and preventative action, product quality assurance systems and supplier performance development and evaluation is helpful.
