AQUIS Capital is a specialized active asset management firm founded in 2020 by senior investment professionals with over 20+ years of experience in the financial service industry. Our area of expertise consists of Hedge Funds and Emerging Asia Opportunities. On the Hedge Fund side, we manage two global Fund of Hedge Funds: Atlas Global Fund a nd Impactis Fund. 

We are now looking for an outstanding analyst / intern to enhance the hedge fund investment team and support across a variety of tasks within the division. You will be based in Zurich and join a dynamic, growing company within an entrepreneurial environment. The position is open to be filled as soon as possible. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Work as a Research Analyst with the Hedge Fund Research team 

• Source investment ideas and assist in the hedge fund manager selection process with screening, interviewing, peer group monitoring and performance reporting 

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis within the investment due diligence process

• Focus on the coordination and maintenance of an accurate research database system 

• Active part in the day-to-day operations of the Fund 

• Closely collaborate with the marketing team to assist in the production of company and fund materials such as, presentations, DDQs, monthly reports, etc.Contribute to ad-hoc and recurring market research and comments

• Produce meeting notes after hedge fund managers’ on-site visits 

• General management support

The position offers a set of responsibilities, so we need someone flexible and able to wear many hats, adapting to the tasks at hand. 

Requirements 

• Top Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management or Engineering with solid financial knowledge 

• Work experience of at least 1-2 years in a similar position within Asset Management or Fund Management, direct investment experience would be a plus 

• Experience and knowledge of Fund Management or Funds of Hedge Funds Industry would be an advantage 

• IT skills and previous Microsoft SharePoint experience would be a plus 

• Ability to work as part of a team, work well with different personalities and across departments 

• Further Asset Management education or in process, such as CAIA, CFA, FRM etc. are a plus, but optional 

• Fast-learner, trustworthy, independent, very precise in the execution of tasks 

• Advanced MS Office skills, Bloomberg familiarity would be a plus 

• Fluent in English, excellent communication skills
