We have an exciting opportunity for an EHS specialist to join us for an initial 3 month contract for 20 hours per week at short notice., You will be required to work on site at 2 different locations in Switzerland.


As an EHS specialist, you will be expected to deliver the following:

  • Engage with site leadership, employees, contractors, and key stakeholders to promote environmental, safety, and health (EHS) 

  • Implement EHS initiatives and ensure goals are met 

  • Ensure compliance with DuPont and regulatory requirements  

  • Collaborate with EHS Corporate/Regional resources 

  • Responsible for EHS injury, illness and incident classification and reporting 

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop recommendations to mitigate hazardous conditions.  

  • Develop and implement EHS training programs, ensuring compliance with all required certifications and training  

  • Monitor EHS regulations and communicate changes to key stakeholders 

  • Participate in investigations related to incidents and provide recommendations for corrective actions 

  • Conduct EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement 

  • Hands-on, work to improve safety performance 

  • Support and consult on High-Risk Activity (HRA) and Life Saving Behaviors (LSB) Management 

  • Execute site first party audit program. 

You will be an experienced EHS specialist with the following experience and skills:

  • Solid understanding of and/or ability to interpret Corporate, and Regulatory requirements. 

  • Demonstrated EHS functional/technical expertise with strong knowledge of safe work practices, auditing, and incident investigation.  

  • ability to communicate clear direction and executions on EHS initiatives.  

  • Ability to work independently, influence all levels of the organization and collaboratively engage stakeholders. 

  • Technical aptitude, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, and adaptability 

  • Able to communicate in English, French and German

  • Certified Safety professional according to the Swiss regulation is preferred
