Head of Group Strategy & Projects



Your role


   


•    Assisting the Partners Committee in defining and driving the Group's longer-term and annual strategic priorities.
•    Working with key leaders across the Group, including the Partners Committee, to identify priority topics that require central support from your team.
•    Steering the initial effort to define the matter to be addressed, setting objectives, planning work and allocating resources for projects.
•    Coaching team members on problem-solving and internal client management throughout project execution.
•    Handling specific high-priority projects in person, as well as ad hoc requests, key events and other critical tasks.
•    Ensuring the projects led by your team are successfully completed, and conducting post-project impact assessments for learning and performance management purposes.
•    Managing the portfolio of all projects, balancing support needs with available resources and fostering cross-project synergies.


Your team


 


Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation, Risk and Tax departments.


 


 


As the Head of Group Strategy & Projects, you will lead a team responsible for designing, executing and monitoring the Group's strategic priorities. Your team will comprise eight members, and will provide project management support for Group-wide initiatives, organise corporate events and perform ad hoc tasks for the Partners Committee. Success in this role will depend on your ability to lead and motivate a skilled team, as well as collaborate effectively with leaders and experts across the Group.


Your profile


 


•    A university degree in Finance, Business or a STEM field.
•    At least 10 years’ experience in similar roles with a large financial institution or a management consulting firm.
•    In-depth knowledge of the wealth and asset management industries, banking activities and processes, as well as of financial regulatory frameworks.
•    Proven experience in strategy design, execution and change management in connection with large strategic and operational projects.
•    Excellent analytical skills, a client-focused approach and an openness to innovative working methods.
•    Proven people management skills, with an ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder projects and to deliver under pressure.
•    Fluent in both French and English, with outstanding writing and presentation skills.
•    Must be resident in Switzerland.
