The Head of Engineering Navigation oversees all activities within the unit and ensures that objectives are met and legal and compliance regulations are observed and met. ln particular, the Head of Engineering shall manage the unit to realize changes and engineering tasks along the strategical direction to assure a seamless and stable operation of navigational services to internal and external customers.
 

Your responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of the technological strategy
  • Implement the technological strategy through a break-down into projects and activities 
  • Manage a team of six engineers, the project portfolio and assigned tasks 
  • Ensure required engineering support to operations and partners 
  • Identify and drive business opportunities and optimizations
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with selected partners and suppliers
     
Your profile:
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent (University of applied science or ETH)
  • Further education in business administration
  • Several years of experience in a leading position and project management and planning
  • Open-minded team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel for business
  • Fluent in English, good command in German or French is a plus
