The Associate Director is an authentic and influential hands-on leader who successfully communicates with employees to grow our employee-centric and mission driven culture through listening, communication, collaboration, and consistent floor presence. They will be driving our culture levers focusing on our people, mission, patients, commercial partners and by keeping a focus on safety, employee well-being, and quality.
The regions are dedicated to the servicing and distribution of multiple medical device products with approximately 130 team members and annual revenue of $50M+. The team reporting to the Associate Director includes Operations, Supervisors, Technical Service Representatives, and Sr Technical Specialists.
What you will be doing:
- Sets functional KPI and oversees operational performance to ensure service deliverables and strategic plans are met at the most effective cost.
- Accountable for establishing the annual operating budget plan, monitoring, and measuring against continuous improvement plans.
- Collaborates with customers, distribution, internal supply chain and manufacturing, sales, marketing, field service, accounting, and external vendors to find mutually beneficial resolutions to inquiries.
- Supports and administers annual companywide programs and provides monthly feedback to employees using the company’s performance system.
- Create a culture within the team to maintain compliance with Environment, Health & Safety requirements, and a zero-harm workplace.
- Demonstrates proactive leadership skills to solve problems, build trust, boost morale, encourage goal achievement, and ensure high team confidence across all levels.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related discipline required. Graduate degree (MBA) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ leadership experience in manufacturing or service in plant operation of a facility are required.
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience with cross functional matrix management skills preferred
- Prior leadership experience with field teams (100+ staff).
- Prior operational budget responsibility or $20mm+ and strong business and financial acumen.
- Ability to drive results and have good project management skills to effectively prioritize major complex cross functional activities.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $144,000-180,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
