For our Swiss Entity in Dagmersellen, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented and proactive individual for the permanent position as

NPD & Material Supply Specialist (m/f/d)

New Product Development (NPD) is crucial for product lifecycle management, materials planning, and production processes. It ensures supply chain continuity, efficiency and collaboration to drive continuous improvement and meet high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Take an active role regarding the implementation of individual market initiatives supporting JTI's growth ambition
  • Create PSKUs and manage their life cycle while also supporting the phase in / out of materials and products with Maintenance
  • Coordinate all projects-related write-offs as well as Factory write-offs for tobacco, NTM's and cigarettes
  • Own product portfolio on the GSC side and execute tasks related to PLM projects
  • Coordinate the process of product changes, the introduction of new brands, re-launches, promotions, sourcing changes, legal and regulatory changes
  • Analyze the stock level of materials as well as the current and projected inventory vs warehouse capacity
  • MRP run and PO creation and timely communication with suppliers
  • Coordinate all material maintenance requests for products (BOM revision coordination & Factory Approval)

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics or related field
  • Proven experience in the area of Supply Chain Planning or Procurement in a multinational company
  • Advanced SAP4L (ECC & APO) user, BW experience required, IBP experience is a plus
  • MS Office package, advanced in Excel
  • Macro and Power BI is a plus
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus
  • Innovative, proactive mindset with a strong “can do” attitude
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
