Your day-to-day
Join us as a Reservations Agent:
For InterContinental Genève and Crowne Plaza Geneva, your main duties will be to:
- Record reservations made by telephone, e-mail, fax, etc. and ensure, when making reservations, that it has all the necessary information to record the guests' reservation.
- Register new members to the IHG Rewards Club and InterContinental Ambassador.
- Be familiar with the different room types and rates in force as well as the configuration of the two hotels in the Cluster: InterContinental Genève and Crowne Plaza.
- Be familiar with the different types of vouchers and the various promotions offered by the InterContinental Genève, Crowne Plaza Genève or IHG.
- Respect all procedures for recording reservations, confirmations and cancellations, as well as all procedures of the computer system in force.
What we need from you
With a degree in Hospitality Management, you have minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in a Reservations or Front Office Department within a hotel establishment of the same category (4- or 5-star).
You are fluent in French and in English. Mastering a third foreign language of one of our target markets (Germany, China, India, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Russia) is highly desirable.
Highly motivated and dynamic, you like to work in a fast-pace environment. You are acknowledged for your strong service- and business-orientation as well as for your communication skills. You are very meticulous and well-organized and you strive to impact guest experience positively.
