Job Details
Job Summary:
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on Interventional Technologies, including Structural Heart, Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), and Vascular Closure, you will be at the forefront of scientific and medical advancements within our organization. In this highly specialized role, you’ll serve as a trusted expert, connecting our innovative technologies with leading clinicians, researchers, and medical experts. Imagine yourself as the bridge between groundbreaking interventional devices and the medical community, providing insights that drive our mission forward while helping our stakeholders stay on the cutting edge of care.
Your daily work will include collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in cardiology and interventional medicine, where you’ll engage in meaningful conversations about the latest developments in Structural Heart, FFR, and Vascular Closure devices. You’ll develop deep, strategic relationships with these experts, enabling you to gather valuable insights into clinical practices and trends that influence the field. These interactions will inform your role as an educational resource, as you identify training needs and develop programs that keep both internal teams and external stakeholders well-informed and prepared to use our technologies effectively.
To ensure you’re a valuable resource to both internal teams and external partners, you’ll regularly engage in ongoing education, attending key medical congresses, reviewing the latest clinical literature, and analyzing competitive developments. This dedication to learning and staying informed will enable you to share the most current and relevant insights with your network. As part of our commitment to advancing research, you will also play an active role in supporting clinical trials, collaborating with investigators to select and initiate sites, and facilitating studies that demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of our products.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, although an advanced degree (MS, MD or PhD) is preferred. You should bring 5-10 years of clinical, research, or scientific experience, ideally with prior exposure as an MSL or in a related field role within MedTech, with a focus on Structural Heart, FFR, or Vascular Closure. Deep knowledge of these interventional technologies, along with a solid understanding of clinical practices, regulatory frameworks, and scientific methodologies, is essential.
To excel in this role, you’ll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to foster relationships with KOLs and present complex information effectively. A background in teaching or training is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to educate and support diverse audiences. This role involves significant travel to meet with stakeholders, attend key conferences, and support clinical research activities.
