IWG is seeking a Global Procurement Associate to join the team in Manila, Philippines.
Duties and responsibilities
Work with procurement and business partners to develop the Vendor Management & Contract Management Platforms and drive the following business objectives:
- Manage Vendor Base & Vendor Process Efficiency
- Contract Process Control & Risk Management
- Successfully lockdown suppliers used & Drive Purchase Order compliance
Manage Vendor Base & Vendor Process Efficiency
- Ensure all new vendor requests are reviewed
- Provide support for inquiries regarding vendors creations & modifications
- Create & deliver training on the vendor creation process and system used
- Support ongoing management and reduction of the vendor base, including classification & cleansing
- Track and report KPI’s relating to the vendor management process
- Support any new development & system improvements
Contract Process Control & Risk Management
- Create and maintain contract master data and ensure the integrity of the data and conformance with global data standards and procedures.
- Manage contract approval process
- Monitor contract lifecycle
- Track and report KPI’s relating to the contract management process
- Support any new development & system improvements
Successfully lockdown suppliers used & Drive Purchase Order compliance
- Work with the Category teams to identify preferred suppliers.
- Report spends through the wrong suppliers.
- Provide Procure-to-pay (P2P) System support for inquiries relating to vendors
- Support any new development & system improvements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Procurement roles, a good understanding of purchasing systems and basic finance, plus a good understanding of MRP/ERP systems preferred but not essential.
- Good understanding of Procurement procedures.
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software(s), SharePoint and other Office365 apps
- Knowledge in Data Analysis. Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of market research.
- Solid organizational skills.
- BSc in Business Administration or relevant experience.
- The ability to work unsupervised and on their initiative, whilst remaining focused on their role.
- Experience working in a commercially focused environment.
- Good communicator, both written and oral.
- A team player who is computer literate with well-developed IT skills.
- Attention to detail is a key attribute, as is a proactive outlook.
Working conditions
- This role covers mostly 24/5 support to the global procurement team.
