How you can make a difference :

  • Support with design input

  • Carrying out design control for development projects

  • Support with supplier evaluation

  • Interface between Process Care, Product Care and Development

  • Support for design and process risk management

  • Contact point for quality management issues during the development project

  • Support with design verification and validation

  • Carrying out or accompanying supplier audits

  • Support with design transfer

  • Participation in the continuous improvement process

That's what you bring along :

  • Degree in natural sciences (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, physics, process engineering) or tecnical apprenticeship with further training

  • Several years of experience in the field of design quality engineering or design control of medical devices according to the requirements of 21 CFR Part 820, Regulation (EU) 2017/745, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and ISO 14971

  • Training as an auditor is a plus

  • Experience with extrusion and injection molding in a medical device environment is a plus

  • Knowledge of biocompatibility and hygiene requirements is a plus

  • Fluent written and spoken German, ideally with a good command of English

  • Confident manner and pragmatism in interdisciplinary teams during product development

  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time
