Educator in Childcare center

The Häsligruebe (www.haesligruebe.ch) is a family-run childcare centre and offers high-quality, loving and needs-based care for children aged 3 months to 7 years with care hours from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm.

To expand our team, we are looking for a friendly and independent childcare specialist with an 80-100% workload for our location in Basel (near to the central train Station SBB) with immediate effect or by arrangement.

What you should bring with you:

• at least a qualification as early childhood or a similar recognised qualification
• If possible, 2 years of professional experience
• English mother tongue (or C level) . Additioanlly German is an advantage and is requested in Switzerland to recognize your title
• Experience in a mixed-age group of children
• Communicative personality
• Team-orientated and independent way of working, sense of responsibility and reliability
• Fflexibility and resilience, social skills, commitment

Your area of responsibility will include

• Supporting the group leader in organising a varied group life and pedagogical content
• Supervision, care and support of the children
• Collaboration with parents (familiarisation, parent meetings, assessments, etc.)
• Supervision of trainees or apprentices
• Support with projects and events at the daycare centre
