Group Communications (GC) is responsible for creating a lasting positive image of Roche and are representing the company's voice on a Group level: We communicate Roche’s strategy and how we deliver on our purpose of “Doing now what patients need next” to Roche colleagues and external audiences. We drive integrated and global campaigns and provide platforms for communications business partners as well as our affiliates to engage with audiences. We contribute to building trust of key stakeholders, to managing Roche’s brand and reputation and to building a favourable environment for our business. Digital Communications team within GC is where innovation and collaboration converge to redefine healthcare communications. Our core mission is to vividly bring Roche’s strategy and purpose - 'Doing now what patients need next' - to life, leveraging a wide array of digital channels. From orchestrating compelling integrated campaigns to harnessing the power of digital platforms for deep insights, our work is integral to building trust with key stakeholders, enhancing our brand reputation, and creating a supportive ecosystem for our business.
The Head of Digital Intelligence carries overall accountability for the measurement and benchmarking of Roche’s digital communications efforts to external audiences, along with listening and intelligence gathering of digital and traditional media mentions.
Your opportunities:

Develop the future of Roche’s social/web/traditional media listening capabilities; build a market-leading intelligence function that focuses on proactivity and actionable insights

Build-out our intelligence capabilities on a global scale, utilising our operations hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Budapest and Costa Rica with the overall objective of ‘always-on’ intelligence

Develop and own Roche’s digital crisis management efforts in partnership with the Strategic Communications team

Measure and report results of all paid and organic activity on Roche's priority Global channels

Develop a measurement and reporting framework for macro/holistic social media KPIs and micro/campaign KPIs that demonstrates the effectiveness of Roche's external campaigns, and provides a platform for benchmarking where we track progress

Own Roche’s benchmarking of our digital efforts vs our competitors

Derive insights from the performance of Roche's Global digital channels, content and audiences, using existing and new social analytics tools

Coach colleagues on best practices through the the sharing of campaign/holistic learnings and insights that can inform business strategies

Partner with colleagues across digital communications to ensure the creation of audience, channel and content strategies that will resonate with our external audiences based on past learnings

Partner with colleagues in other functions to automate the collection and curation of digital and media data within Roche's visualisation tools
Who you are
-
Fluent in written and spoken English
-
10+ years relevant experience within social media intelligence or digital analysis

Adept at using (or leading others who use) social listening and analytics tools (i.e. Brandwatch, Sprinkl, etc.)

Ability to critically analyse and interpret paid and organic social media data, summarising findings into meaningful insights

Strong written and verbal presentation skills
Furthermore, you have experience of visualisation and automation tools (Tableau or Google Data Studio preferred). Experience of Natural Language Processing (i.e. Python) as well as experience of multi-market and multilingual social intelligence is a plus. You are up-to-date with tools & trends within the social analytics space.
This role will be based in Switzerland.
