Arxada is looking for a Business Development Manager CDMO for Pharma Intermediates. This role can be based in our European offices in Basel or Visp (Switzerland), Barcelona (Spain), Cologne (Germany), Kourim (Czech Republic), or remote. In this role you will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and CDMO projects with focus on customers from the pharmaceutical and related industries. The role involves overseeing all commercial activities for designated customers, achieving results aligned with agreed commercial KPIs and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:

Interact efficiently with customers and build strong relationships

Prepare commercial proposals and offers

Negotiate and close contracts

Drive marketing activities, and continuously analyze industry and customer landscape

Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and projects
Key Requirements:
-
MSc. In Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related fields

5+ years of work experience
-
Strong existing network in the pharmaceutical industry, including CDMO’s
-
Excellent negotiation and project management skills
-
Strong business acumen
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and manage multiple internal stakeholders.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Fluency in English
