PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The People & Culture Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for HR services for Avolta’s HQ and Global Functions. He/she will work closely with Avolta’s senior leadership to develop and implement HR Strategies that align with the business’ goals. She/he acts as a consultant to management and provides guidance on talent and performance management, employee relations and ensures that HR practices support business objectives. This position reports into the Head of HR – Global Functions, is based in Basel, Switzerland and requires in office presence 4 days a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as first point of contact for any HR-related questions
- Is responsible for the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit, including drafting employment contracts and reference letters
- Ensures compliance with local labor law regulations as well as company policies
- Manages HR policies and procedures in accordance with Swiss labor law
- Develops, modernizes and implements various process in close collaboration with the Head of HR
- Creates reports and uses HR Analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Supports an external payroll provider by providing relevant documents and information to ensure accurate and on-time payment
- Drives annual budget review processes, including pay review
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of experience in an HRBP role
- Fluency in English (both verbally and written) is a must; German would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and accountable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills for reporting and data-driven decision making
- Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SuccessFactors would be an advantage
