Your responsibility
- You will be part of a small team reporting into the Head of Actuarial Services responsible for providing support on a variety of topics covering Reserving, Pricing and various actuarial development across P&C and L&H
- On the reserving side you will support the Head of Reserving not only with improvement to the processes (reserving, planning, etc.) such as the introduction of various automations, but you will also support the team with reserve reviews and targeted deep dives when required
- On the pricing side, you will support the Head of Pricing during the various renewal periods and also contribute to various initiatives to improve the overall pricing landscape (introduction of a new Platform, development of market benchmarks, design KPIs and reports...)
- You will also work in close collaboration with IT and various actuaries to support the development of various actuarial tools and systems.
- Your workplace will be either Zurich Settbach or St. Gallen with Flex-Office option.
Your qualification
- Degree in a quantitative field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or related field). Started or completed actuarial qualification is a plus.
- Ideally with prior experiences in a quantitative field within the financial industry, preferably in insurance or reinsurance.
- Strong programming skills and experience in working with databases is required.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience
- Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language would be an advantage.
