As a Financial Planning & Analyst you will play an important role in providing valuable insights and support decision-making processes through in-depth reporting, variance analysis and comparisons on sales, margin, expenses and Net Working Capital, with cross-functional and cross-country collaboration / perspective.

 

 A job that matters: your tasks

  • Creates variance analysis reports and financial models to identify and explain gaps between reported and planned figures.
  • Get involved in the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimize operational costs and escalate significant issues to senior management.
  • Support local entities by developing tools, sharing best practices, and enhancing the quality of rolling forecasts. Identify major deviations or negative trends.
  • Cooperate with our shared service center and drive improvement of data quality of the group reporting and group controlling tools.

 

An experience that matters: your skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field is required.
  • First professional experience in a finance, controlling or accounting environment.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Experience in SAP BW and in Power BI (or SAC) is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and controlling, incl. reporting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, you are proactive and have excellent communication skills, coupled with curiosity and the ability to familiarize yourself with new situations, contexts and tools.
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken, German is considered a plus.
