MSC Cruises is seeking an experienced strategic sourcing professional to join our Global Procurement team based in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement categories directly related to guest satisfaction aboard our cruise ships. Collaborating with business partners and suppliers, you will work on sourcing initiatives, new product development concepts, and more, with the target to deliver exciting and tangible results for MSC Cruises and its cruise guests worldwide!

You will work under the supervision of the CPO and in cooperation with the Procurement Team and Business Partners and will be responsible to:

• Partner with Corporate Functions to define the sourcing strategies for the critical corporate and IT spend. MSC Cruises defined an incredible growth trajectory for the next 5 years and we are crafting the team that will achieve that. The role will require the capability to interface different functions and the ability to early engage with them and design the go to market strategy.

• Build and grow the relationship with the key suppliers, selecting those with the higher future potential and the ability to value creation for MSC. Leverage MSC growth while de-risking the supply chain with focus on technological development for the fleet being built.

• Define the best way to take the spend to market, depending on the market analysis and stakeholder requirements. Promote sustainable development actions in line with MSC Cruises' values.

• Study, animate and manage the creation of global sourcing optimizations, both qualitatively and quantitatively, across various departments of the company.

• Propose ways of working optimizations developing common tools (templates, specifications, evaluation grids, market analysis, etc.).

• Create and lead supplier segmentation and relationship management (SRM) maintaining a mindset of long-term partnership and respect for suppliers.

• University degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or computer sciences.

• 10+ years of strong sourcing experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a significant global Corporate Service and IT sourcing role at a director level in FMCG or equivalent industries.

• Demonstrated analytical skills, data-driven decision making, and the ability to adjust plans based on insights amid ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty.

• Strong organizational skills, able to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Calm and resilient with a self-driving attitude.

• Proactive, attention to details and commitment to deliver work quality.

• Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills, comfortable with stakeholder management in a matrix organization.

• Perfect command of English (spoken and written). Fluency in other languages, with Italian and French being preferential ones, would be advantageous.
