The team is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of P&C integration services, as well as our P&C data platform, which serves as the central source for data analysis and AI use cases. As a Cloud Integration Developer, you will be part of our agile development team, consisting of Cloud Integration Developers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Owner, and Scrum Master.

What you will do

• You work directly with the business to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• You design, implement, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You develop and manage robust and scalable RESTful APIs
• You deploy applications in the cloud to make them scalable and reliable, using Docker and Kubernetes
• You manage data efficiently with SQL and NoSQL databases as well as blob storage
• You ensure code quality through reviews, tests, adherence to best practices, and architectural guidelines

What you bring

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on microservices architecture
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (especially Azure App Services), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), database systems (SQL, NoSQL), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Experience in requirements engineering, including gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills for direct interaction with business stakeholders
• Fluent in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
