We are a climate-tech ETH spin-off, developing an innovative solution to make architecture more sustainable and buildings more intelligent. Solskin is a climate-adaptive building envelope solution that combines dynamic (moving) photovoltaic modules with intelligent AI-driven shading to provide optimal building energy management and improve occupant comfort. Solskin uses advanced AI-algorithms utilizing weather and user data to optimize energy savings and comfort for highest quality and sustainable living and working spaces.

As a marketer at ZSR, you will have the opportunity to promote this cutting-edge climate technology and contribute to the market deployment of Solskin and maximize its social and climate impact. You will be given a high level of independence and responsibility and will be able to see the tangible results of your work as Solskin is installed on buildings in Switzerland and around the world.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities of Role:

You will be responsible for supporting and later co-leading or leading various activities around Solskins’ marketing activities. You will work closely with our internal Business Unit and external marketing agency to promote Solskin to architects, stakeholders and customers. You will also support the company's sales operations.

Involved tasks:

• Support on the creation of captivating marketing materials across various channels as well as sales presentations to promote Solskin as an intelligent solution for sustainable and intelligent buildings
• Support on the further development of the Solskin marketing strategy
• Work together with the internal team and an external agency on the conceptualisation, creation and execution of targeted advertising campaigns
• Co-lead cooperation with external agency
• Support the ZSR Business Unit by representing Solskin at events and coordinating logistics and brand presence (national and international)
• Monitor the sustainable architecture, intelligent buildings industry, identify trends and market opportunities
• Organize events

You will work very closely with Alexander Züst (Head of Business), Matthew Talylor (Business Developer) and Dr. Vesna Kosoric (Head of Architecture).

Requirements

Education:

You are a FH or university master student in marketing, communication or related discipline and you completed your Bachelor in a relevant discipline. HF students or EFZ graduates with significant working experience are also considered.

Mindset:

• Creative mind, passionate about architecture and intelligent technology, aware of the challenges involved with climate change, feeling the urge to work on solutions
• Perfectionist mindset when it comes to aesthetics

Desired Skills:

• Excellent writing skills (do better than Chat GPT)
• German and English proficiency required
• French or Italian is a plus
• Fast learning capabilities, affinity for technology and innovation
• Office and Adobe CC skills, other marketing tools and CRMs are a big plus;
• 3D visualization skills are a big plus
• Innovative and creative approach and hands on, can-do attitude
