The Swiss Paraplegic Group (SPG) in Nottwil is a world-wide unique organisation with 1600 employees engaging 80 different professions. We treat people with spinal cord injuries, beginning at the site of the accident. We provide medical treatment and guide them through their rehabilitation as well as helping to reintegrate them back into family, workplace and society. The acute and rehabilitation hospital is situated on the lovely Lake of Sempach and it serves also as a congress and sports centre. The SPG is one of the largest enterprises in central Switzerland and offers the employees a modern workplace and attractive employment conditions.

We are an editorial, journalistic and commercial centre of excellence. We are the new regional TV channel Canal B, which will begin broadcasting on 1 January 2026 in the Seeland, Biel, Lyss, Granges and Bernese Jura regions.
