The management culture is characterized by appreciation, meeting at eye level, attentiveness and solution-oriented support, open communication. This obviously shapes the appreciative, collegial and helpful cooperation at all age levels. The infrastructure in the new administrative complex reflects the same image in its open, clear architecture and furnishings - togetherness. The IT equipment is kept up to date, the support is competent and guarantees high availability. From the very beginning until today, I have had the good and motivating feeling of being welcome here in Obergösgen and - although an external contractor - of being a member of the workforce. I can only recommend Dr. Oetker as an employer/client!

There is basically a very collegial and open atmosphere and a family culture. Even though the demands are sometimes very high and there is a high level of dynamism, the working environment is very appreciative and characterised by trust. The home office options will also be maintained after Corona and the flexible working hours allow employees a good work-life balance. Great importance is attached to promoting the proactivity of employees. The input of the employees is not only taken up, but often also implemented. Employees are given a lot of freedom in their daily work, which makes it possible for them to work very independently. The expectations of the employees are relatively high, but on the other hand you also get a lot in return (flexible working, part-time, home office, very good social benefits, compensation for overtime, etc.). Due to the fact that the management team is young, agile and strong in implementation, trends and new topics are tackled early. The daily work routine is therefore very future-oriented. The company is also very well positioned in the digital field.

I see potential for improvement especially in certain processes and the communication flow between the departments. However, the management is also very open about such topics and implements the feedback of the employees as far as possible. Furthermore, the volume of projects and opportunities sometimes exceeds the capacities of the rather small teams. A little more pragmatism would be necessary here in the implementation.

The application process was very compact and completed in only 3 weeks. I was very friendly welcomed by all employees and I got a well prepared and detailed introduction program. The working atmosphere is friendly and familiar. The employees are always helpful and one feels well integrated in the team from the beginning. The company has a very social attitude and attaches great importance to the well-being of the employees. The management regularly informs internally about new projects and the development of the business. You can work very independently, you are trusted and your home office also works very well. Suggestions are always welcome and one really has the feeling that every member, regardless of hierarchical level, makes an important contribution to the company.

Certain processes can certainly be simplified even further, and suggestions in this regard are also very much welcomed by the management

It is so beautiful how we master the crisis (Corona time 2020). We work together and address issues. The personal responsibility is far-reaching. I like that.

Actually, only one potential for improvement comes to mind: we should react more actively and, above all, more quickly to changes from outside and dare to try something new even more courageously.

I thought it was great that all potential team members took the time to get to know me and see if I would fit into the team.

I thought the application process was good as it was. I found it very pleasant. These 2 longer interviews were very well prepared and well structured. Furthermore, all next steps were always clearly communicated. I also liked the fact that I could decide whether I wanted to have the first interview on site or rather via video conference.

The discussion is still possible with all departments despite the distance of the contacts but it must be sought. The organisational freedom of staff members is quite large.

Interdepartmental contact is quite weak. Perhaps this should improve with the new buildings. The transmission of some information is not very good.

The application process was very well organized and very pleasant. I felt very comfortable and welcome right from the start. The organisation in general is top and I was kept informed continuously. The working atmosphere is very positive and collegial. I find the location great (not in the middle of a city) and easy to reach.
