MIAG Engineering GmbH was founded to play an active part in making the nation more energy-efficient, and to promote renewable energies, in order to reduce Switzerland’s dependence on imported fossil fuels while ensuring the country’s long-term energy supplies. The strategy is also intended to cut environmental pollution and implement the planned withdrawal from nuclear power generation.achieving these goals. We have the relevant specialized expertise in all three areas: nuclear power, conventional power generation and renewable energies. We are also experts in planning and construction, the safe operation (and, where necessary, upgrading) of existing facilities, the dismantling of decommissioned plants, and container construction. We operate both nationally and internationally. When building new power generation facilities, our focus is on renewable energies.
