The vocational school KV Basel is one of the largest providers of commercial vocational education in the Northwest Switzerland region. For over 150 years, we have been committed to the educational system of the commercial professional world for youth and adults, offering all basic education programs: commercial employees EBA, commercial employees EFZ, and the professional maturity type economy (BM1 during the apprenticeship / BM2 after the apprenticeship full-time). We also support our learners with a wide range of additional courses. In language courses, our learners are prepared for international language certificates. In computer science courses, learners can, among other things, earn a SIZ diploma. Support and learning enhancement courses help learners with technical problems to reconnect with the material in class. Our specialties are shortened training programs. In a separate class, graduates with a Federal VET Certificate (EBA) can acquire the Federal VET Certificate for commercial employees in just two years. The prerequisite is an appropriate grade average in the EBA final certificate. For graduates of a professional maturity school or a gymnasium, we offer in a separate class the EFZ training shortened to two years of training. Adults are prepared in special classes over two years during the week in the evening and on Saturday morning for the acquisition of the Federal VET Certificate (EBA) or the Federal VET Certificate for commercial employees. We accompany you with pleasure and commitment from the start of the training to the end and prepare you perfectly for further vocational training during this time. A high quality standard obligates us towards you and your goals. Therefore, the vocational school KV Basel undergoes strict quality examination procedures every year and successfully passes them.
