Slow Food is a worldwide movement that is active in 160 countries. Slow Food Switzerland currently has 3,000 members. Slow Food is committed to good, clean and fair food for all. Slow Food's projects and initiatives promote the networking of producers and consumers as well as gastronomic offerings. Sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity in agriculture are important concerns. The organization has been cooperating with the COOP Fund for Sustainability since 2008. Together, over 20 Presidio products have been developed and launched on the Swiss market. The Presidio preserves artisanal producers of traditional food specialties that are threatened with extinction. In addition to the support and contributions of its members and sympathizers, Slow Food needs motivated and committed employees to work in various areas of the organization, such as administration, marketing and management. Slow Food regularly advertises vacancies in these areas.
