The Breast Centre Zurich is an interdisciplinary centre for the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, in particular breast tumours. After detailed diagnostics, our patients are treated surgically and, if necessary, subsequently with systemic medication and radiotherapy according to the latest guidelines. The Breast Centre consists of a team of gynaecologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, a psycho-oncologist and doctors trained in genetic counselling. The nursing staff includes breast care nurses, oncology nurses, medical practice assistants, medical-technical radiology specialists and a clinical trials team. This makes it possible to offer our patients holistic care, counselling, support and medical care in all stages of breast recovery. The Breast Centre treats almost 4,000 new patients per year, including over 400 patients with their first breast cancer operation in 2018. Over 10,000 mammograms are performed annually.
