I know my strengths and of course know a lot about the restaurant business, as I have never changed industries since I was an apprentice. The staff has little idea, but the locations are top, so they did not lack guests. I was one of a few who spoke perfect German. Now I know why. The pay is sub par. Minimum wage even though you're a professional and have a degree. They hired a man who didn't know what a red or white wine glass was. Of course I know what he earns, for that money I wouldn't even set the alarm. You should write clearly in the profile that you do not hire Swiss or MA with experience. Only beginners who have a limited residence permit. So they can not complain and accept everything. In return they should not save on staff. At the noon where I was there, I got a lot of tips from the guests and was asked whether I am here often. It is clear that I have little sympathy for this employer at the moment. I'm happy where I am now, a mix of catering and bakery, we have despite corona open. Schaade, in such a large company I would have expected more, but not a dermasse rip-off! At the rejection they said they were looking for someone for 80%. I said I wanted to work between 60-100%. That was their excuse! I was stunned really and couldn't take it like that. I didn't get the chance to talk to the manager, he was apparently never there. I wanted to go in person, but 3 days later I had my job. So I let it be. That was over 1 year ago, but I had to get rid of it.

I was with this company for five years. Unfortunately, you're just a number. In the end, I was just taken advantage of. After five years, there wasn't even a proper exit interview.
