This works well in the company

Good salary depending on the department, but a lot is also demanded (overtime, independence, etc.). Normal salary environment in production. However, working conditions in production are usually better than elsewhere. But beware: shift work in production. In the office, management there are many home office options and flexible working hours. Depending on the department, the working atmosphere is really good. Superficially everywhere.

This could be improved

Create a more stable environment so that employees stay. Perhaps simply hire more people. Even if for a limited period of time, so that a pick time (due to season, orders, project implementation such as conversion, digitization, restructuring of departments) does not burn out the existing employees or drive them to flee. Overtime is unfortunately normal, as it is usually calculated too tightly. One employee's work often covers work for 2 people. Everything should be available in English as well as German. Often a lot is only in English. Create an induction, a real one, not just on paper.

This works well in the company

The engineers working there have a great amount of knowledge, but mangament doesn't understand project scope and timelines and resource necesities, despite there being 2 managers for every 1 engineer.

This could be improved

- More managers than actual engineers - unrealistical time lines - new employees expected to know internal process that not even long lasting employees know fully - onboarding non-existent - massive exepctations from new employees while providing 0 onboarding - hiring 1 person to do the job of 5 people, expectation of knowledge from vastly different roles - meetings over meetings and calls all the time, with 0 time allowed for actual work - insistance on meetings for what could be an email

Flexible working hours Home office is possible and encouraged, although sparingly

This could be improved

Constant changes. Most employees do not stay longer than 2-3 years. Salaries are below average and individual raises are basically non-existent, no matter how hard you try and how good your evaluation is. Very high workload.
