"Lunch check card and free coffee" ;-) ... .at least this is how HR attempts to attract potential ambitious candidates...

This could be improved

Very poor management style of the last century which does not want to leave their comfort zone to go through difficult times and is not ready for urgently necessary change. No people development and a philosophy of "give more and get less". Insufficient regulations and processes to ensure the quality. Integration between the offices Switzerland and headquarter in Italy does basically not exist. Finger pointing mentality and culture of blame from top to bottom. Talents are leaving fast while managers seem to focus on securing their positions. No space for constructive criticism and required improvements. Last but not least, incredible poor and late communication in times where people have to know the changes ahead.

Good rail connection. Flexible working hours. Good interaction between employees.

This could be improved

The management lacks vision for the future of the company especially in regards of future product portfolio. To strong focused on service business. Long-term employees are leaving the company thus also a lot of knowledge. Implement training plans and promotion or salary raise and a clear vision for the future in order to improve the work climate and cross the fingers for better market conditions.

connection among the employees. Good transport connections by train. Some interesting works when you can finish them.

Further training of employees. Management's dealings with employees. Management decisions go once in one direction and then suddenly in another direction. Communicates honestly with employees. There is no clear picture for the future of the company. Only service business or new product developments are to be made in the future. This uncertainty affects the mood of the employees.

Relaxed pace. No tight deadlines. You feel like a public employee. Small benefits, e.g. Reka checks, Lunch card. Good air of communication among employees (with some exceptions).

This could be improved

Ineffective, old-school management, following same recipe that flushed Alstom down the drain. No career opportunities, no promotions, no salary raises. 89 people left in the last year, this trend says everything. No sales of new units. Marginally managing to meet running costs, based on small service contracts. Low to none integration with headquarters. Terrible IT infrastructure. No training. Middle and top management needs to be replaced ASAP. No strategy, no vision, incapable of conveying a positive spirit, incapable of taking measures required to improve business performance. Company focuses now on creating contractor hubs around the world, rather than keeping valuable employees in headquarters. This leads to lack of commitment and loss of know-how.
