As job applicants: more opportunities could be offered to foreigners and they could be informed about the work/visa procedure.

I first got to know Ms Bernwald, when I submitted my application documents as a candidate for a job position she had publicised on behalf of an industrial client of her own consulting/recruitment agency, a company active in the field of process engineering. Over the course of several weeks I interacted with Ms Bernwald frequently throughout the various stages of the recruitment process and I had the opportunity to witness the following as characteristics of her consulting style: polite and friendly but also professional demeanor, fast response times, competent business-specific advice deriving from a solid overview of and connections with the market, very active engagement with tips and recommendations as well as willingness to help the job applicant, even well after successful completion of the negotiations and during the transition into the new job. Therefore, I would very highly recommend Bernwald Personalberatung as a recruitment/consulting agency

I am not and have not been an employee of Bernwald Personalberatung. Instead I would like to submit a review of my experience as a job applicant for a position in the industry that Ms Bernwald's recruitment/consulting agency was tasked with finding candidates for.

I had applied for a job that exactly matched my very specific professional background. In the introductory interview, Ms. B. was not prepared to give me any more information about the work content or the company, despite my enquiries. It seemed to me more like working through a checklist. After that, I never heard from Ms B. again.

The preparation as well as the support during the whole process was very good and very professional. I especially appreciated the transparent communication and the discretion. I felt taken seriously and perceived as a human being. My needs and wishes were always in the foreground. Thanks to the good knowledge of the industry, I received optimal support.

Regarding potential for improvement: To be honest, I'm not sure about that, because everything went very well.

As a candidate, I was well supported -- and throughout the application process. Dealing with candidates is done with empathy, focus on a good relationship, individual attention. I was listened to carefully and generally acted proactively and far-sightedly (not as "reactively" as many other recruiters). Also positively noticed: the good industry knowledge (life sciences).

Extension to "neighbouring" fields of activity would, in my opinion, be desirable.
