The Balm Foundation sees its task in shaping future perspectives and living spaces together with and for people with impairments. They should be able to participate in life in a self-determined way and feel comfortable.
The Foundation's services include a curative education school with around 120 pupils, various forms of housing at different locations, the industrial workshop and horticulture in Jona, a workshop and the flower shop 'arte e fiori' in the old town of Rapperswil, as well as the residential home, the nursery, the facility management, the canteen kitchen and Café Balm on the Balm site in Jona.
With a good 100 residential places, 85 jobs and over 170 supervised jobs - 12 of which are for apprentices - as well as around 300 employees, the Balm Foundation is one of the largest institutions in the canton of St. Gallen. To learn more, visit our homepage www.stiftungbalm.ch
