The Otto Fischer company was founded in 1899 and currently employs around 300 people in Zurich. The independent electrical appliance wholesale company is run as a family business and supports the electrical installation industry daily throughout Switzerland. Otto Fischer launched the "eco2friendly" program in 2009 in order to promote energy efficiency and reduce the impact on the climate. Together with 30 strong leading partners and a further 600 partner companies from the fields of electrical installation, architecture, and design, eco2friendly sensitises experts and builders to solutions for sustainable energy management.
